Summary
Seeking BilingualEnglish/Spanish facilitator to work with the CTAEYC FCC Coordinator to manage the operations of a Staffed Family Child Care Network in Region 6. In this role he/she will work directly with family childcare providers to support their quality improvement efforts. Towns in Region 6 include: Colchester, East Lyme, Gales Ferry (Ledyard), Groton, Lebanon, Ledyard, Mystic (Groton), New London, Niantic (East Lyme), North Stonington, Norwich, Oakdale (Montville), Pawcatuck (Stonington), Quaker Hill (Waterford), Stonington, Uncasville (Montville), Waterford.
Duties Handle the day to day operations and tracking of the Staffed Family Child Care Network
Recruitment and enrollment of participants into the Network
Communication and correspondence with registered providers.
Engage Network members in communities of practice, prof. development and coaching
Work directly with Family Child Care providers to identify quality improvement goals and support them in identifying and accessing needed resources to help achieve those goals
Communicate benefits of NAFCC of membership and accreditation and support efforts to achieve accreditation
Coordination of data collected through online resources and sites;
Assist with FCC Grant documentation and compiling data for reporting.
Requirements Knowledge of Excel, SurveyMonkey, GSuite/Google Drive, and data management.Knowledge of Family Child Care industry, FCC licensing requirements and available supports. Experience working with Family Child Care providers. Excellent communication skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Benefits This is a full time, 40 hour/week position. Benefits include PTO, flexible work environment.
